本周資金回籠的壓力較大，有逾兆元的人民幣到期，其中包含了逆回購、中期借貸便利（MLF）以及臨時流動性便利（TLF）。為了安撫市場對於資金緊縮的不安情緒，中國人民銀行於2月13日重啟合計1,000億人民幣的逆回購操作。
預估逆回購操作的舉動能在「兩會」，也就是「中華人民共和國全國及地方各級人民代表大會」和「中國人民政治協商會議」之前將匯市維持在一個相對穩定的格局。然而，市場上認為維持資金淨回收仍是中國政府短期內的目標，因此中國人民銀行在釋放資金流動性的操作上將更為保守。
從上海銀行間同業拆放利率（Shibor）的角度觀察，隔夜、一周與兩周的Shibor自1月26日創高之後便呈現拉回走勢，並無再創新高；不過1個月以上周期的Shibor則是不斷在創新高。代表著市場上人民幣短期的資金供給並無匱乏狀態，但中長期的資金相對吃緊。所以目前人民幣雖不易升值，但也不容易重貶。
從技術面著眼，人民幣期貨一個多月以來都於1月5日長黑K棒的高低點之間進行橫盤整理，雖有幾個交易日跌破長黑最低點，但都在幾個交易日之內收回區間內，皆非屬於有效的跌破。
看到目前美元兌人民幣期貨為橫向盤整格局，整理區間為6.8140～6.8840元，只要在未有效突破之前，仍是維持區間整理看法不變。因此，在目前趨勢尚未明朗的情況下，操作上建議以小部位於上述支撐與壓力間進行高出低進的動作，待新趨勢成立後再順勢操作即可。

搶數位匯流龍頭，中華電信展開MOD大躍進的動員令！據了解，中華電信今年針對MOD業務訂出一個「大挑戰」的目標，年底將力拚200萬用戶，力爭匯流一哥地位。
中華電信董事長鄭優針對此表示，200萬用戶是今年積極爭取的目標，更重要的是，希望兩年內MOD轉虧為盈，打破開台以來連年虧損的經營窘境，而這也是提振中華電信整體獲利的必要手段。
鄭優強調，中華電信目前在行動、寬頻及各項電信業務居於領導地位，MOD將會是他上任後，最重要也是最積極推動的業務。據了解，中華電信攜手通路商神腦國際以及關係企業全部動起來，透過MOD綁寬頻以及全省關係企業合計600多店全面動員推銷MOD業務。
MOD開台至今13年，雖然用戶累積至今已破132萬，但是收視費每月不到100元12H ，加上頻道內容不夠豐富，2016年MOD虧損16億元，累積至今虧損更高達315億元，成為拖累中華電信獲利最大的包袱。
鄭優說，MOD每少虧1億元，就能為中華電信增加獲利，他強調，MOD業務虧轉盈不可能一下子達成，所以在這過程中，中華電信還要擴大MOD資本支出、增加數位機上盒的採購規模、同時提高購置優質頻道節目的成本，做為增加MOD用戶規模的誘因。
鄭優認為，200萬用戶是虧轉盈的門檻，希望今年年底積極達陣，雖然MOD正面臨強大競爭壓力，但是中華電信會盡最大努力。他舉中嘉有線電視近幾年多次交易、價值都在700多億元為例強調，MOD希望轉型成為一個有價值的業務，如此才能拉抬公司未來整體獲利表現。
有線電視與中華電信寬頻網路並列國內最重要的兩條「最後一哩」，也是台灣發展智慧家庭及數位匯流的關鍵，中華電信正面臨富邦、鴻海結盟，遠傳與中嘉策略聯盟的群雄圍剿局面，去年又因為有線電視業者綁低價寬頻上網，造成中華電信流失不少寬頻用戶，鄭優強調，中華電信正面臨強大競爭壓力，但一定要盡最大努力，MOD是提振公司獲利的必要手段、也是他上任後最重要的業務。
